A worthy tale you share with us here. Though many others may have laughed at this, I understand the hidden wisdom that lies beneath its naive surface, where only superior minds can reach. Only a true master of the arts would be able to conceive such work, so impeccable, so powerful.
A well deserved DD, padawan. :meditate:

His weaboo-ness and the Spider-Man and Rurouni Kenshin references floored me. Especially "As long as I live, I shall never forget these words...Or something like that, I forget."

Wow, Drift must be desperate if he's going to rescue Bumblebee lol! Great comic so far. I'm happy you got Drift so soon. I still have to wait until they hit shelves here. Can't wait to see how this one plays out :)

I LOLed heavily at the Rurouni Kensin reference.

Wait...Drift knows Batman?

WAIT...THE AUTOBOTS KNOW BATMAN?

Where's the crossover here?

Wow, you actually bought the toy. I'm impressed.

You do realize, of course, that you should tack "mysterious" in front of every mention of the Mysterious Third Faction, since IDW always does.

Of course I bought him! He's an awesome toy! He's a terrible character, but an awesome toy! :)

Yeah, I made sure I italicized "Third" faction at least. Because that's SO special. I mean, there hasn't been a "third" faction since the LAST storyline before Drift was introduced!

Yeah, so what is this, like the eighteenth third faction?

I'll be holding out for the Blurr remold. At least I can have an awesome toy with a somewhat likable character. Though I do find it ironic that that mold is being used on two characters McCarthy wrote Spotlights for.

Y'know, I'm not sure the mold works so well for Blurr. The pics look nice and all, but Drift has got some clunky, boxy legs. Not at all like the usual sleek Blurr legs.

Hmmm. Perhaps. But I'm a little too disturbed by your fascination with Blurr's "sleek legs" to comment further. :P

Heheh, this is awesome. Nice little reference to Rurouni Kenshin there.

By the by, how is the Drift toy itself? Any good?

:iconmikepriest83:

It's really nice, actually. Pretty much evidence that the best parts of Drift all came from Guido Guidi and the toy designers at Hasbro/Takara.

Good to know. Plan on picking him up. Like the look even if the character fills me with strange and confusing emotions. Mostly odd mixtures of varying degree's of anger.

Oh man, I've been sitting on that one forever. He is so a slightly-smudged derivative of Kenshin.

I had it in a picture caption on TF Wiki, but it got overwritten with yet another Poochie quote.

Now I finally get to use it again!
